about me
Bilingual
Passionate
Creative
After graduating from Emory University with a degree in Economics and Chinese Studies, I accepted a full scholarship to study acting at Beijing's prestigious Central Academy of Drama. In 2018, I moved to LA and began working as a bilingual event & TV host.
Once the pandemic began, I saw how little the world actually knew about China. Many were unable to differentiate the Chinese people from their government, so I decided to speak out. Overnight, I lost all my gigs and was banned from returning to the country that mothered me throughout my 20's.
But the choice left me with a robust enthusiasm to create. I've since written, directed, and produced a viral political satire series, five music videos, and two stand-up shows. I've been featured in Voice of America, Radio Free Asia, New Tang Dynasty, and even made the front page of Hong Kong's Apple Daily. My audience spans the globe with my art serving as a bridge for cross-cultural exchange.
